A new psychic show on TV3 was targeted by a prankster who pretended to be Will Smith
hoping to reunite with his old friends.
The caller explained to psychic Wayne Isaacs that he was born in America but after he got in a fight one day his parents sent him to his rich relations in Ireland.
He said: "I'm just wondering is there any chance I'd get to see my old gang cause I don't think they are alive anymore, half of them probably.
"There's one guy Jazzy Jeff, he used to DJ with me. I used to play some rap music there. I think he's still around to be honest with you but I don't know about the rest of them."
During the call he recited lyrics from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme tune but it seems that it was only towards the end that Wayne realised the caller was joking.
After consulting his cards Wayne advised him to try and get in touch with his old pals through "social networking sites".
Yesterday TV3 explained that the new TV psychic is an entertainment service and that it complies with broadcasting regulations. TV3 provides the airtime to eso.tv and a clip of the hilarious incident is fast becoming a YouTube hit.
