Grab your wallets for a sale and a Doom collection.
Bethesda made a couple of very interesting and exciting announcements at QuakeCon yesterday. First up is the news that a variety of games are going on sale over the course of the weekend (August 2-5) in celebration of QuakeCon. This may trigger flashbacks to when the Steam sale recently stole your wallet and hard-earned cash, but at least you’ll have games to make you feel better. The QuakeCon 2012 pack includes over 20 titles from id Software and Bethesda Softworks for €99.99 ($99.99). The QuakeCon 2012 Bundle includes titles such as Brink, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, Commander Keen, Doom 1-3, Quake 1-4, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, and RAGE among others.

Those who purchase the pack and pre-order Dishonored will reduce the price of the deal down to €79.99 ($99.99) and will receive Arx Fatalis for free. In addition, there are daily deals running with their own special discounts, although there is a crossover in the games on offer. The Thursday deal is currently still available with 66% off games such as The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition. Meanwhile, Skyrim is 50% off. Friday’s deal is 50% off Rage, Saturday’s deal sees 66% off all Fallout titles and downloadable content, while the bargains wrap up with 75% off all iD Software titles on Sunday. All of iD Software’s iOS titles have also been reduced to $0.99 until Sunday.

A new trailer has also been released for Doom 3 BFG Edition, titled The Lost Mission. The Lost Mission features eight new levels, players take the role of the only surviving member of the Union Aerospace Corporation’s Bravo Team. Naturally, you become the last hope in a race to stop a full scale invasion from Hell after learning of the evil that has been unleashed on Mars. Doom 3 BFG Edition includes Doom, Doom II, Doom 3, and Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil, along with The Lost Mission. The pack has been re-mastered for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

More information regarding the QuakeCon Bundle is available from Steam, while more information in relation to Doom III BFG Edition can be found on Facebook.
