Dead Space 3 has just hit the shelves in North America, and is currently being stored in retail stockrooms in Europe, but that hasn’t stopped Visceral Games from announcing the first DLC for the game. Dead Space 3 Awakened promises to feature the “franchise’s darkest chapters as the Necromorph battles become even more gruesome and terrifying than ever before.”
Vice President and General Manager of Visceral Games and Executive Producer on Dead Space 3, Steve Papoutsis, said, “In Dead Space 3 Awakened, gamers will experience some of the most disturbing content they have ever seen in a Dead Space game – they are going to love it.”
Dead Space 3 Awakened will be released in March on the PlayStation Network and PC for $9.99, and on Xbox 360 for 800 Microsoft points. Is it too soon to be discussing DLC considering the microtransaction controversy pre-launch?
