Destiny 2 launches this Autumn

Destiny 2, the follow-up to Bungie’s 2014 first-person shooter, launches this coming Autumn as noted in an article from Eurogamer.

The sequel will place a focus on accessibility and encouraging new or lapsed players to pick up the gamepad and delve into Destiny’s science fiction inspired story.

The first Destiny faced criticism for an at times uninspiring story that often featured repetitive gameplay.

However, the game’s developer Bungie has worked hard on building the game’s backstory through a number of well-received expansions, so hopefully Destiny 2 will feature a more engaging storyline right from the game’s launch later this year.
