EA uses Gamescom as a showcase
Plenty of trailers to whittle away some time.
It wouldn’t be a major gaming conference without EA bringing a variety of new trailers to the table. Gamescom 2012 is underway and EA is intent on making an impression over the course of the conference.

First up is Crysis 3, which is looking beautiful. Thankfully there is a dedicated trailer for the Tech along with a reveal trailer for the Hunter Mode, which features in multiplayer. We recently got a hands-on preview of this mode and it is shaping up well. If you’d like to read more about the multiplayer side of Crysis 3, the preview is available here.

The trailer for Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel tells you everything you need to know about the game – with the odds stacked against you, you and your partner must survive by any means necessary. This will entail shooting and destroying anything that moves as you attempt to take down a drugs cartel in Mexico. The co-op shooter offers local split-screen or online multiplayer. Team up with your partner on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in March 2013.

A new trailer for Battlefield 3 Premium Edition was also unveiled. This contains the Battlefield 3 game along with all Battlefield 3 Premium content including five themed digital expansion packs. Also included is a Battlefield 3 Multiplayer Head-Start Kit which unlocks 15 weapons, gadgets and vehicle upgrades. Though seems as players will be getting this head start so long after the original game’s release, it really only offers an advantage over other people who were late to the party. Battlefield 3 Premium Edition will be released in North America on September 11th and in Europe on September 14th.

If all that wasn’t enough shooting action for you, EA also released a trailer for Medal of Honor Warfighter. The gameplay trailer shows a portion of the multiplayer, so it’s as chaotic as you would expect. The RPG on one soldier is a bit overkill at the same time…Medal of Honor Warfighter will be released on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii-U and PlayStation Vita. It is due for release in North America on October 23rd and in Europe on October 25th, but obviously we can’t pin down a Wii-U date just yet. If you pre-order Warfighter, you will get access to the beta of Battlefield 4 when it opens.

And now for something completely different. EA also released the much anticipated trailer of FIFA 13. We’ve written about it before, but just in case you’ve missed it here it is again. A demo for FIFA 13 will be released on September 11th. The game will be released on September 25th in North America and September 28th in Europe.
