Metal Gear Solid HD Collection digital release date announced
If you didn't grab the excellent Metal Gear Solid HD remasters upon their release in November then pencil in August 21st into your calendar as the titles will be rolling out as individual digital downloads across both PS3 and as the bundled collection on Xbox 360.
With a new layer of graphical goodness and the same stealth gameplay we all know and love, it's fair to say we at Click were massive fans of the remasters upon their release. Now it's even easier to grab a slice of gaming nostalgia as Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater release digitally.

Playstation owners will be able to grab both titles separately on August 21st, with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker releasing as a separate download on August 28th, and the entire collection as it appeared on the disk also going up for download on the 28th.

Xbox owners are a little bit more constricted in choice with MGS2 and MGS3 bundled together as one download and Peace Walker available separately a week later as a Games on Demand release.

There is no word yet on how the games will be priced.
