Multiplayer support dropped for Race Driver: GRID
Racing title has stalled on the GRID.
SomeRace Driver: GRID fans are in for a rude awakening if they try to play online. Codemasters has removed online support for PC and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. Meanwhile, Xbox 360 players remain unaffected by the news.

Codemasters issued a statement announcing the news. Community manager, Ian Webster, apologized to fans affected and thanked all Race Driver: GRID players for their support. He said that the termination of multiplayer support “follows the decision by a third party provider to decline the offer of an extended contract to continue online play on these platforms.”The Codemasters’ forum has been hit with fans angry and disappointed with the news. This is an unfortunate turn of events for what proved to be an excellent racing title.
