Sale launched on Ubisoft's Uplay service
Grab a €1 / $1 bargain for the weekend.
Ubisoft has launched a promotional sale where certain games will cost just €1 on a given day, while there are savings to be found on many other popular titles. From Dust is the title up for grabs for €1 today, Silent Hunter 5 will go on sale tomorrow and Driver: San Francisco will round out the sale on Sunday. Titles such as Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction, Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Might & Magic: Heroes VI, and Anno 2070 are discounted for the next few days as well.

This promotional offer has been launched to celebrate the release of Uplay PC, a digital distribution platform and service designed so players can connect to Uplay’s community services. The service will be familiar to PC gamers that have used other digital distribution platforms. Uplay PC features a shop, a friends list and a chat system.

Worldwide Director for Online Games at Ubisoft, Stephanie Perotti, said that the service is designed so that gamers can discover games and connect with friends easily. Perotti added, “For PC gamers that are already fans of Ubisoft’s titles or have been considering trying some of our classics, this promotion is a great deal, and our way of saying thank you for their support.”

You can find Uplay PC and more information about the service and sale on the Uplay website.
