The Witcher 2 Intro Cinematic
Enhanced Edition for Xbox 360
Holy Crap!

That’s what I muttered upon seeing this gorgeous, gripping CGI trailer from CDProjekt. And I said it a lot!

You will too. It’d be impossible not to. It weaves its own wee tale and sets up the game’s overarching plot all without uttering a single word.

Unconvinced? Give your Eye and Earballs a load of this...

Suddenly, The Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition is my most sought after release of 2012, even over the likes of Mass Effect 3 and MGR: Revengeance.

My enthusiasm MAY waver during the torturous wait until its release on April 17th. But considering this is a high-fidelity console port of the most critically lauded PC title of 2011, bundled with exclusive characters, locations and four hours of previously unearthed quests, I wouldn’t put much gold on it!

The Witcher 2 has been praised for its hauntingly accurate portrayal of mature topics such as politics, racism and (surprise, surprise) sex. Couple this with layered combat mechanics, a truly branching narrative and a seedy open world and you have a potential Skyrim beater hitting the Xbox 360 in just a few short months.
