Transformers Prime Game Heading to Nintendo
Good news for those of you who are Transformers Prime fans, as Activision has today confirmed that they have acquired the license for the brand and will be bringing a game to Nintendo systems later in the year. Set to be released on Wii, 3DS and DS, the as-yet-untitled Prime game is said to be a brawler that puts you in the roles of series favourites like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Bulkhead and Autobot Ratchet as you take on the forces of arch enemy Megatron and the Decepticons.

Activision's Executive Vice President David Oxford explains further:

"Hasbro Studios has done a phenomenal job with the Transformers Prime television show.We are collaborating closely with the series creators to capture all the adventure, humour and friendships from the show to create an authentic action experience for Transformers fans of all ages to enjoy.”

No release date has yet been set, but Activision says it will definitely hit stores before the end of the year, which is good news for Transformers fans everywhere.
