Finnish star has developed an irrational hatred of pigs too.
Rovio Entertainment has partnered with Caterham F1 driver, Heikki Kovalainen, which will see the Finnish driver sporting an Angry Birds themed helmet for the 2012 season. The helmet has already had an outing in the practice sessions for this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix, but will get added exposure during the race itself.

Kovalainen has said that he is very happy about the deal. He said, “This is a great partnership on many levels, I'm a big Angry Birds fan!" Angry Birds executive Harri Koponen is equally pleased with news of this deal. Koponen said, “We're so excited to be working with Heikki on this, the first partnership of its kind in F1.”

Twitter followers and visitors to Kovalainen’s website were treated to images of the helmet and Kovalainen has said that the reaction has been very positive. The partnership is more than a helmet design however. F1-themed merchandise and mini-games are expected in the near future.
