Party girl Rihanna has sparked health fears by posting
a bizarre pic of herself on a medical drip. The 24-year-old Tweeted the snap from her hospital bed when a fan asked why she’d gone quiet after yet another wild night out on the town.
Frantic family members have jetted off to LA to support the troubled star amid concerns her hectic lifestyle has left her suffering acute exhaustion.
Little brother Rorrey Fenty, 22, revealed their mum had begged her to come home to Barbados and recuperate.
He said Monica Fenty was worried sick about Rihanna and desperate to feed her up with her favourite chicken curry.
Rorrey added: "I could see this coming. Her management have been working her a 13 hr day.
"Shes been exhausted for months and she needs to come home."
But the workaholic singer was back on a plane just two hours after posting the mysterious photo online.
She offered worried fans no explanation, instead Tweeting a picture of her private jet with the caption: "My ride home."
As early as Sunday, the Twitter addict wrote "F*** being sick!," later adding "Seriously, I’m sick! "Don’t wake me up for dumb s***."
But her illness didn’t stop her flying out to New York to mix with the cream of the Hollywood A-List at the glitzy Met Ball on Monday night.
Looking drop-dead gorgeous in daring black snakeskin, she faced the wrath of notorious Vogue editor Anna Wintour for arriving late and missing her slot on the red carpet.
After a furious clash between the pair, an insider said: "Rihanna will not be invited to any of her future events any time soon."
It’s not the first time the hardworking star has been driven into meltdown by her non-stop schedule and high-octane social life.
Last November she was forced to cancel shows in Sweden after falling ill and Tweeting a similar picture.
At the time, she said: "I am sorry to everyone who was coming out to my show in Malmo, Sweden. I was so excited to perform for you all.
"It would have been a great time... so much better than being sick with the flu, ugh! I’m really disappointed I couldn’t be there."
