Georgia Salpa avoids the axe from Big Brother
Top model Georgia Salpa was thrilled to defy the odds and survive her first live Celebrity Big Brother eviction last night.
The Irish beauty won the pubic vote and watched camp rival - Pineapple Dance Studios star, Andrew Stone - booted off instead in a 'fairytale' eviction.

However, her success was bittersweet as Georgia was then called to the diary room and instructed to nominate two housemates to face eviction on Friday while the rest of the house watched her make her decision.

Georgia selected x and x to face the public vote this weekend .

The stunning glamour model was the early favourite to be evicted from the house but Andrew was the 8/15 favourite to leave the house just before the show kicked off last night.

However, even Georgiaís Big Brother admirer, Kirk Norcross, admitted he expected the beauty to lose in last night's midweek eviction.

"I think she's going to go because Andrew will get more votes to stay because no one has probably seen Georgia," said the Essex boy yesterday.

Georgia's other housemates were equally convinced Georgia would be booted off the show.

Bitchy wag Nicola McLean commented: "She has been pretty boring. Who is she? I don't even know who she is?"

Natasha Giggs, infamous for her affair with her brother-in-law Ryan Giggs, insisted Georgia was at a disadvantage because Channel 5 is not widely shown in Ireland.

"They don't have it in Ireland and I donít think that will do her any favours," she said.

Georgia ended up for eviction after five of her fellow Big Brother stars nominated her in the Diary Room claiming she was too quiet in the house.

She was been blasted as ëdrainingí and ëawkwardí by some of her Celebrity Big Brother housemates.

Loose Women presenter, Denise Welch, was the first to nominate Georgia claiming she was "lovely but quiet" before adding she was "draining and not easy to be around."

Rugby player Gareth Thomas also revealed he wants Georgia to go claiming: "I'm not sure if sheís willing to give out as much as other people."

He also said makes any attempt at conversation with Georgia was "awkward."

Football WAG Nicola McClean's first nomination was for Georgia whom she felt she hadn't "connected" with. "There's no common ground," she added.

Hunky rap star Romeo's first nomination was for Georgia adding: "You tend to stick to people you relate to more."

Former East Enders star Natalie Cassidy also wanted Georgia to get the boot.

She claims she feels the beauty gives "nothing back." She also felt conversation with her was very "draining" even though she said she has tried to include Georgia in conversations.

However, Andrew Stone was even more unpopular after receiving a total of seven nominations to Georgia's five. Housemates Denise, Natalie, Romeo and Essex boy Kirk Norcross did not receive any votes.
