Reality star Kim Kardashian
has taken to Twitter
to tell her 14 million followers that she didn’t appear on an Irish radio show after a hilarious spoof interview was aired on RTE.
The station’s 2fm presenter Colm Hayes and showbiz reporter Lottie Ryan carried out a comical interview sending up the American star who flew into Dublin over the weekend.
In the skit, the curvaceous TV star said she didn’t watch The Quiet Man because she didn’t like silent movies.
She also referred to the country’s famous Claddagh rings as “bladder” rings during the prank interview on the Colm Hayes Show on Friday. But the world’s biggest reality star showed she had a sense of humour yesterday by tweeting her 14.9 million followers about her appearance on the morning show.
She said: “We all appreciate a well organized prank!! I didn’t call in to the Colm Hayes show but seems that’s what listeners were led to believe. I’ve really enjoyed my time in Ireland!”
In the send-up the babe marvelled at the closeness of Ireland to England. She said in the spoof interview: “This is my first time in Ireland. I never realised it was so close to England. It’s really handy. I can’t believe I missed it before.” Lottie Ryan, who is the daughter of late broadcasting legend Gerry Ryan, was delighted her TV idol had tweeted fans about the prank.
: “Amazing! Thanks @KimKardashian for appreciating our little prank on @colmhayes2fm
!” Kim (31) was in Ireland to see her boyfriend Kanye West perform in Dublin’s O2. Jay-Z and his superstar missus Beyonce were also in town for the hip hop heavyweights’ Watch The Throne tour.
