Westlife singer Shane Filan — who is seeking UK court protection from creditors — faces fresh legal action in Ireland over a property empire he built up during the boom.
High Court proceedings were issued last week by Sligo firm Trio Foods Ltd against Shane (32) and his older brother Finbarr (43), who have a firm called The Nalif Partnership.
Shane moved to Surrey, England, with his wife and three kids in January.
Last month he applied for a legal order to enable him to repay his creditors and avoid bankruptcy.
Shane’s property firm Shafin — also set up with Finbarr — owes millions and is being pursued by Bank of Ireland.
