Bertie Ahern's eldest daughter Georgina Ahern is stepping into the limelight just as her husband's Westlife career has come to an end.
Georgina (33), who watched Nicky Byrne's final performance with Westlife in Croke Park just over a week ago, has launching a career as a health and fitness columnist.
The brunette mum, who is a qualified personal trainer, is sharing tips and advice on health and happiness on the new website, Her.ie.
Husband Nicky proudly announced her new column on Twitter yesterday.
"Here's Mrs B's new column on Her.ie - the website for women launched today ... Go check it out," he tweeted.
In her first column, Georgina, who claims to be on a "never ending quest to be more fab, fitter and healthier", recommends the book, French Women Don't Get Fat.
"It's all about eating for pleasure and portion control, which sounds like just the ticket to me," she said. "It's all about moderation. Forget obsessing over the calories taken in and then stressing over calories being burnt after sweating it out on the treadmill - life is too short!"
She adds: "Enjoy a glass of wine, enjoy a taste of good chocolate (perhaps dark choc or raw organic.) Indulging in one mealtime, it may mean cut down a little more in the next."
She also recommends keeping a food diary to lose weight and says: "The key then is to keep it off. Well, it's simple: keep busy, enjoy being more active every day, from walking to cycling to work. It all adds up."
