Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome gets Fracked
It’s Caprica all over again!
Pitiched initially as a web series, Blood and Chrome was greenlit to produce a pilot for the tellybox. It even got a snazzy promo trailer, which you can see, with your eyeballs, below...

Naturally, everyone frothed at the mouth at Blood and Chrome’s promo trailer. So Syfy, the geniuses who brought you “Sharktopus” have decided the world doesn’t need a high profile science fiction series with great writing, impressive effects, engaging concepts, gratiutious sex and excessive space battles.

Because who in their right minds would want that, right?!!!

In a recent statement, Syfy’s president of original programming, Mark Stern explained,

"We are actively pursuing it as was originally intended: a groundbreaking digital series that will launch to audiences beyond the scope of a television screen. The 90-minute pilot movie will air on Syfy in its entirety at a future date."

Considering the very, very limited success of last year’s Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series (despite the level of industry talent involved), hopes for a resurgence of the BSG franchise are now well and truly fracked!
