has been lined up to star in the sequel to 1988 comedy Twins
in a title that is imaginatively called Triplets
. Twins featured Arnold Schwarzenegger
as a genetically perfect test tube baby and his less-than-perfect twin brother played by Danny DeVito
. Murphy is set to appear as their long-lost brother.
The film is in its very early stages with word out that a script writer is yet to be hired. DeVito and Schwarzenegger are attached to the sequel with original director, Ivan Reitman
, set to produce rather than direct this time around. 24 years have passed since Twins was originally released; can the comedy remain relevant and will pulling a long-lost sibling out of thin air provide a winning formula?
