Robocop Remake Unveils a Poster
Your move, dude from The Killing

Based on the news so far and the recently released trailer- we're not overly optimistic about the Robocop remake. For one, its ditching the R-rating in favour of family friendly CG fights, and there's way too much human on show in this new take on Murphy, played by The Killings Joel Kinnaman. And what's the deal with his silly robo voice?

On the other hand, it has an interesting director in the form of Brazilian filmmakerJose Padilha - who was behind Elite Squad and its action-packed sequel and its got one of the best supporting casts we've seen in years, including Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson, Jackie Earle Hayley, Jennifer Ehle and a long overdue return to the limelight for MichealKeaton.

Today, the first poster for the film has also been released and it's looking... postively generic.

So this Robo will have a gun and be mostly black. He looks like the progeny of an unholy union between Kit from Knightrider and a gimp suit.

Robocop is in cinemas from the 7th of February 2014.
