2013 in tech: Winners and losers
2013 was an incredible year for technology with the release of enough smartphones to sink a small battleship, a multitude of consoles, and some intriguing wearable tech.

Of course, it was a better year for some companies and products than others. Finances Online put together an infographic of the best gadgets and tech of the year gone by. There are four categories for each type of product: winners, contenders, game changers, and clunkers.

Winners are, obviously, the best in class; contenders are the products that were good, but just missed out on the top spot; game changers showed potential and had something that might upset the old order or start something new; while clunkers are the products that might have been good ideas, but consumers didn’t agree.

Of course, there will be some difference in opinions, so let us know what your winners and losers list would look like.
