Google could launch a new VR headset at I/O

I/O 2017, Google’s annual developer conference, is just around the corner and as a result there are plenty of rumours appearing online about what we can expect to see at the event.

The latest rumour, which comes by way of Variety, claims that Google could launch a brand new standalone VR headset at I/O 2017, and that it will feature inside-out positional tracking.

Variety also adds that Google may not unveil the headset at I/O 2017 and could instead focus on the company’s current VR headset, the Daydream.
