Kickstarter for iPhone Android hybrid reaches goal

A kickstarter for an iPhone case that contains an Android smartphone has beaten its goal of $95,000.

The Eye is a ‘Smart iPhone Case’ that contains a 5-inch display, battery power and up to 256GB of storage among other features.

Users plug their iPhone into the case and from there can alternate between using their iPhone and the Android powered device in the back of the case.

The Eye’s battery can charge iPhones, and you can quickly transfer data between both devices through use of the Eye’s SD card slot.

The Eye has currently received $125,978 in pledges from kickstarter backers and there are 32 days left until the campaign ends.

It will retail at $189 when it ships in August.
