Pre-purchased Google Play Store credit coming to retail soon
One of our biggest criticisms of the Google Play Store looks like being rectified in the coming weeks as Google have announced they'll be bringing Google Play credit to retail stores.
Details are sketchy as of yet about exactly what denominations the cards will be available in, but images of a $25 and $10 card have leaked, meaning the cards will definitely be coming to North America. There has been no official word thus far on a European release, but we'd imagine it's only a matter of time.

iOS App Store credit has long been available at retail stores in various amounts and it's a feature long requested by Android owners. With the portfolio of available content continuing to increase exponentially on the Google Play Store now seems like the perfect time to introduce pre-purchased credit to retail stores.
