Samsung Galaxy S8 undergoes final tests

Samsung has reportedly conducted the final stage of wireless communications tests for the Galaxy S8 smartphone, as noted in an article from Yonhap News Agency.

Referring to an industry source, the article states that Samsung is believed to have tested the upcoming Galaxy S8 for use with the Internet of Things technology.

A model number of what is thought to be one of the Galaxy S8's test variants recently appeared on a Google account used by Samsung developers, suggesting that the final series of communication tests for the device have been completed.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 was announced at an official event during last month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The device will be officially unveiled at special events in New York and London on March 29.
