Tidal releases edit tool for song tempo and length

Music streaming service Tidal has released a new tool that allows listeners to edit the tempo and length of any song available on the platform.

The new Track Edit tool can be accessed from the options menu of the Tidal app, and permits tempo adjustments, but listeners first need to select the segment of a song they want to edit.

In addition, the tool allows listeners to alter how songs fade in or out, and edited songs can be saved to new or existing playlists.

This is Tidal’s second feature release of the year; earlier in the month the company debuted the Masters feature which provides near studio-quality sound.
