World's Fastest Electric Flight
Chip Yates manages 202 MPH
In April 2011, Chip Yates broke the record for world’s fastest EV motorcycle. Just over a year later, it seems the sky is quite literally the limit.

The self proclaimed ‘Green Technology Innovator’ employed the Long-ESA EV craft, taking off from Inyokern Airport on July 19 in a modified Burt Rutan Long-EZ and proprietary Infinite Range battery tech to break this second record.


Next year? We’re guessing stilts.
