Your Gmail is now Encrypted. Take That NSA!
Yesterday, Google assured its users that Gmail would employ encryption on all emails, in a bid to combat snooping government types.

Nicolas Lidzborski, Gmail’sengineering security chief,

"Youremailis important to you, and making sure it stays safe and always available is important to us,"
"Starting today, Gmail will always use an encrypted HTTPS connection when you check or send email.
"Today's change means that no one can listen in on your messages as they go back and forth between you and Gmail's servers - no matter if you're using public WiFi or logging in from your computer, phone or tablet."

Not that this will necessarily win the war on cyber-spying. But it’s good for Tech Giants like Google to be taking the fight to the NSA and its suspect counterparts. Check out the full Blog Post in the source link below…
